Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 are expected to power flagship smartphones by late 2025, and a Weibo tipster says the price of the chip isn’t expected to see a major increase. This could enable manufacturers to offer new flagship phones with these advanced processors at prices comparable to their existing lineups.
