With Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC being used on most premium and flagship Android smartphones today, the chip giant is now planning something different in the coming year. According to a source, Qualcomm will produce two unique Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processors next year, one of which will come from Samsung Electronics Foundry. The standard chipset will still be made using TSMC’s 3nm process.
