Steam for Mac will soon run natively on Apple Silicon Mac computers. The latest Steam for macOS beta release now allows the main Steam client and its helper app to run natively on M-series Mac models. This transition delivers faster performance and improved memory efficiency, by dropping the use of Apple’s Rosetta 2 translation layer.
